Apple Ham Cheddar Quiche for Toddlers

  • 1 9 inch pie shell
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated apple raw
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4-1 cup of cubed ham crumbled via a food processor
  • 1 3/4 cups of half half
  • pepper to taste
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • quick shake of salt


  • Preheat oven to 400 F degrees
  • Put the pastry shell in a pie dish, prick bottom with fork and bake for 5 minutes
  • Remove pie shell
  • Add ham, cheese and apple to the pie shell
  • Mix eggs, half half and the spices until very frothy
  • Pour egg mix over the waiting pie shellquiche
  • Bake for 25-35 minutes and don’t forget to wrap the crust with foil half way through baking if you don’t want burned crust (yeah, I forgot this step )


You can substitute 1% milk for the half-n-half
