Squooshi reusable food pouches can be filled with whatever squishy wholesome goodness you and your little ones desire for a healthy, on-the go snack or meal. Fill. Eat. Wash. Repeat. It’s that easy.

Forget the glass jars, prepared baby food in pouches is the newest, hottest baby food marketing ploy to hit grocery shelves.  Please forgive me when I use the word ploy here because I just can’t help myself.  When it comes to feeding babies (and even toddlers), ad agencies and creative marketing have been able to convince parents that only food from a jar or a pouch is nutritious, healthy and *gasp* convenient.  Sadly, these pouches will also create more waste because disposable pouches will be something else clogging up the landfills.  Parents may want the convenience of a prepared pouch of baby food because yes, they are easier to travel with, take to play groups and toss into a purse or diaper bag.  I get that!  Having twins, few products offer total convenience when you’re packing it all for two babies.  Tossing in pouches of food rather than jars or containers of (homemade) baby food would have been so helpful!

Now YOU can make homemade baby food AND enjoy the convenience, fun and environmental friendliness of a pouch with Squooshi.  I wish Squooshi pouches were around when my kiddos were still babies and toddlers!  I LOVE these pouches!  The convenience of a pouch filled with yummy wholesome goodness and no need to add to landfill waste – Hooray! I have been filling and squeezing and washing and drying these all day and to put it simply, they are easy and so simple to use.

As I mentioned to Shannon (the creative creator of Squooshi), one of my twins’ was helping me fill the pouch and document it.  At first I had him try to film me filling it with strawberry banana puree.  On the very first go ’round I neglected to attach the green cap and alas, the puree just poured through the spout LOL! My twin got quite a kick out of this 🙂  So of course, I am going to pass this on because other than this bit of stupidity on my part, there was no need to read the instructions at all.  Easy peasy. The puree or smoothie or whatever you are filling the pouch with does not pour out when you are holding and squeezing/eating it upright at all; gravity works wonders!

If you are making baby food or need a container for applesauce or a smoothie for your older baby or toddler, you need these pouches!  Really, you will love them and so will your older baby or toddler.  My twins would let me pack these for school if they didn’t have the “baby animals” on them – *hrmpf*  It’s sad when your little ones are growing up and don’t want the cute stuff anymore!

P.S. The opinions expressed above are 100% my own. I was given a set of these wonderful Squooshi pouches for free to test out and in exchange for my honest review.
