Sometimes we can get overzealous with acquiring kitchen tools and gadgets. I admit to having many kitchen items that I used once and have forgotten about. But the Apple Peeler….. Oh the wonderful apple peeler!
Behold the old-fashioned and humble apple peeler/core-er tool. This fabulous tool makes quick work of peeling and slicing apples and is a lot of fun for kids to use. When you have this tool, you can easily make uniform apple rings for a variety of uses such as:
- pies
- apple crisp
- finger foods
- fun snack foods
- drying and dehydrating
- upside-down apple cakes
- use the rings in apple & cheddar quesadillas
